The short version: we collect as little as possible, we never sell your information, and we only email you if you ask us to. Here are the details.

What we collect
- Your email address — but only if you choose to sign up for our newsletter or a guide. If you never enter it, we never have it.
- Basic, anonymous usage data — like which pages are visited and roughly where visitors come from. This helps us make the site more useful. It is aggregate and not used to identify you.
We do not ask for your name, your due date, your baby's health information, or any sensitive personal details, and you should not send those to us.
How we use it
- To send you the newsletter or resource you signed up for.
- To understand, in aggregate, what content parents find helpful.
That's it. We don't build advertising profiles about you.
Who we share it with
We never sell or rent your information. We use a small number of trusted service providers to run the site (for example, an email delivery service and website hosting). They process data only to provide their service to us. We may disclose information if required by law.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe anytime — every email has a one-click unsubscribe link.
- Ask us to delete your data — email us and we'll remove your address from our list.
- You can browse the whole site without ever giving us any information.
Cookies
We use only the minimal cookies needed to run the site and to measure aggregate traffic. We do not use cookies to track you across other websites.
Who we are & affiliation
Cradle & Compass is an educational resource produced in affiliation with a home newborn-care and circumcision practice, My Home Circumcision. Some links to that practice are how the site is supported. We tell you plainly wherever that relationship is relevant.
Children
This site is intended for expectant and new parents (adults). It is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
